According to NIRF reports 2023, 422 UG and 396 PG candidates got placed and the median package offered is INR 18.75 LPA and INR 13.5 LPA to UG and PG students respectively. During the placement drive, 153 job offers were made. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Honeywell, Micron Technology, Uber, Hindustan Unilever, American Express, Intel, Samsung, Quantbox, IBM, etc. hire candidates from IIT Kharagpur.
