CAT 2024: According to the official notification posted on Twitter by IIM Calcutta, the dates for the much-awaited CAT exams have been confirmed. CAT 2024 is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2024. Candidates preparing to appear for the CAT 2024 exams can check the detailed notification here.
CAT 2024 registrations will begin on August 1, 2024. As per the official notification issued, the CAT application process will begin at 10 am on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Eligible candidates must complete the registration and application process by September 13, 2024. The link will remain open until 5 PM on the last date.

CAT 2024 Eligibility
To apply for the CAT exams, it is mandatory for students to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. The detailed eligibility will be provied on the official notification of CAT 2024.
- Students applying must have completed their bachelors degree with a minimum of 50%.
About CAT 2024
CAT Exams will be held across 170 designated exam cities . Students are provided with the option to select a city of their choice based on their preference during the application process. Candidates are advised to select the cities based on their ability to reach the centre on time on the day of the exam. The exams will be conducted in three shifts.
- Shift 1 - 8:30 am to 10:30 p.m
- Shift 2- 12:30 pm to 2:30 p.m.
- Shift 3 - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The exam will consist of the following sections with multiple choice - MCQ-based and TITA (type in the answer)
- Data interpretation & logical reasoning
- Verbal and reading comprehension
- Quantitative aptitude
