CBSE Class 10 Science Question Paper 2023: The CBSE Class 10 Science question paper from 2023 exam holds significant value for students preparing for the CBSE Class 10 Science exam 2024 which will be conducted tomorrow, March 2, 2024. Notably, the syllabus for the 2023 board exam remained unchanged for the current academic session which is beneficial to students in predicting the content of the upcoming board exam and focusing their preparation effectively. Pattern of CBSE Class 10 Science Question Paper 2023
The question paper consisted of 39 questions in five sections.
All questions were compulsory. However, an internal choice was provided in some questions. Students were expected to attempt only one of the questions.
- Section A consisted of 20 objective-type questions carrying one mark each.
- Section B consisted of 6 Very Short questions carrying two marks each. Answers to these questions had to be in the range of 30 to 50 words.
- Section C consisted of 7 Short Answer type questions carrying three marks each. Answers to these questions were required to be in the range of 50 to 80 words
- Section D consisted of 3 Long Answer type questions carrying five marks each. Answers to these questions had to be in the range of 80 to 120 words.
- Section E consisted of 3 source-based/case-based units of assessment of four marks each with sub-parts
