Tips to Prepare for CBSE Class 9 Social Science Examination

.Go through the revised and latest syllabus. Analyze the topics that you have to study and make a note of ones that have been dropped.

.Read the NCERT prescribed textbooks for History, Geography, Civics and Economics carefully. For the first three subjects, students should try to memorize the terms, definitions, facts and dates. Read the content multiple times and make comprehensive notes that will help you at the time of examination. For Geography, try to understand the concepts with the help of NCERT’s simple textbook.

.Solve the questions given at the end of the chapters in the textbook. Questions given in the NCERT books are always considered very important as not only do they help you to analyse your understanding of the concepts involved in a chapter but also in preparing for the examinations.

.Solve as many sample papers and previous year question papers as you can. This practice will prove beneficial for you in the examination and will give insights about the level of difficulty of questions.
