How to Use Meta AI on Different Meta Platforms?
Here's a breakdown of how Meta AI can enhance your experience on each platform:
WhatsApp Web:
- Open WhatsApp Web on your browser.
- Look for the dedicated Meta AI feature it is a hollow circle with blue in colour and is usually visible on the top of your WhatsApp Web screen

- Type your question or task in the designated field.
- Send your message - This might involve pressing "Enter" or a similar button.
- Meta AI will respond with answers and information to the best of its ability!
WhatsApp Group Chat:
- Start in your group chat: Open the chat where you want to interact with Meta AI.
- Summon the AI: Type "@" in the message field, then choose "Meta AI" from the options that appear.
- Ask your question! Once you've selected Meta AI, type your prompt or question in the chat box.
- Get your answer: Send your message, and Meta AI will respond with informative answers in the group chat.
- Replying to AI (Optional): If you want to respond directly to Meta AI's message, simply tap and hold on their message. A menu will pop up, allowing you to choose "Reply". This ensures your response is directed specifically at Meta AI.
Instagram:
- Open Direct Messages: Head to your Instagram Direct Messages section where you chat with friends and followers.
- Start a new message or open an existing chat.
- Summon Meta AI: Type the "@" symbol in the message typing field. This will trigger a pop-up menu.
- Select "Meta AI."
- Ask your question or give a task. In the chat box, type your question or request for Meta AI. This could be anything from seeking information to planning an event.
- Send your message. Hit "send" and Meta AI will analyze your request.
- Receive your response. Meta AI will respond to your message within the chat, providing information, suggestions, or completing tasks as it's able.
Facebook:
- Scroll through your Facebook Feed: Look for an interesting post that piques your curiosity.
- Engage Meta AI: Directly within the post (not in the comments section), you can interact with Meta AI. How you do this might depend on Facebook's interface, but it could involve clicking an "Ask Meta AI" button or icon.
- Ask your question: Here, you can ask Meta AI a related question to learn more about the post's content.
- Get informative answers: Meta AI will analyse your question and provide relevant information directly within the Facebook interface.
Using Meta AI in Messenger:
- Open a Messenger chat: Start a new chat with a friend or open an existing conversation.
- Summon Meta AI: Similar to using Meta AI in a group chat, you might initiate interaction by typing "@" in the message bar. This could trigger a pop-up menu where you can select "Meta AI".
- Ask your question or give a task: Once you've selected Meta AI, type your request in the chat box.
- Send your message: Hit "send" and Meta AI will analyse your request.
- Receive assistance: Meta AI will respond within the chat, offering recommendations, completing tasks as possible, or adding a fun interactive element to your conversation.
