The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS PO result 2024 on its website on 1st August 2024. Candidates will be able to appear for the IBPS PO Prelims exam on 19th and 20th October 2024. The IBPS PO 2024 exam is the 14th edition that shall be held this year. IBPS PO 2024 notification has been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board on 1st August 2024. Candidates who are wiling to participate for the exam can apply online from 1st to 21st August 2024. Along with the notification, the exam date has also been released by the IBPS. The Prelims exam will be held on 19th and 20th October 2024 while the Mains is scheduled for 30th November 2024.
A total of 11 banks are participating in the IBPS PO's 13th edition. IBPS has been conducting the IBPS PO exam since 2011 and in 2024, its 14th edition will be conducted. The IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XIII 2024 exam is conducted annually to select suitable candidates for the Probationary Officer post to be appointed in the public sector banks of India. IBPS conducts the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian Banks through examination.

The IBPS PO vacancy has been notified by IBPS along with the notification. A total of 4455 vacancies have been released for the 11 participating banks. - Enter your Credentials – Personal, Academic & Communication information
- Upload Documents – Photograph & Signature
- Pay the application fee
- Submit & save the confirmation page

The IBPS PO eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria for IBPS PO exam will be disqualified from the appointment.
A candidate must be either:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently
settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Additionally, candidates belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above should have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India.
The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years, as on October 1, 2021. Check the upper age relaxation for different categories:

A graduation degree is required in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates in their final year of graduation are not eligible to fill the application form.
The following is a list of the banks that take part in the IBPS PO recruitment process.
The IBPS PO selection process is a three-phased process involving – Prelims, Mains & Interview. Candidates who qualify in the Prelims exam shall be called for the IBPS PO Mains exam. Finally, candidates who clear both Prelims and Mains will be called for the IBPS PO Interview. The selection of candidates for the post of IBPS PO or MT will be done on the basis of their performance in the Mains exam and Interview round.

IBPS PO prelims exam comprises three sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. There is a sectional timing of 20 minutes for each section. Thus, the entire IBPS PO Prelims exam is for a duration of 1 Hour. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer by the candidate. The IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern is as follows:

IBPS PO Mains exam pattern consists of both objective and descriptive questions. The objective apper for IBPS PO are Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. On the other hand, the desccriptie paper shall be the English Language paper that will be a Letter Writing and Essay paper. The total duration of the IBPS PO exam is 3 hours 30 minutes and total marks is 225.

The last stage of the IBPS PO exam is the interview that is for 100 marks. Only those candidates are eligible to appear for the interview who qualify the Mains exam. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates.
