The steps to fill the RBI Assistant application form are mentioned below:
It is mandatory to pay the application fee for your RBI Assistant Application Form to be accepted. Those who belong to the OBC/General category have to pay Rs. 450 while those from SC/ST/PWD/EXSERVICEMEN have to pay Rs. 50/-. A GST of 18 percent will also be levied on the application fee. Those who are RBI staff do not have to pay the fee. The application fee for RBI Assistant 2024 exam has been mentioned in the table below.

RBI Assistant eligibility consists of fulfilling the age limit, nationality, and educational qualification. The details regarding the eligibility criteria have been mentioned in the table below.
Candidates must be a citizen of India or,
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years will be provided to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates, three years to OBC, 10 years to PWD, 10 years to widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married, five years to candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989, etc.

Candidates must have completed graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates must also have knowledge of computers.
RBI conducts the RBI Assistant exam in three phases, i.e. Prelims, Mains and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Thus, the final selection process is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Mains and LPT.

Candidates who qualify the RBI Assistant Mains exam shall be eligible to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. It measures listening comprehension in a particular language. The duration of the LPT is 50 minutes.

RBI declares the RBI Assistant cut off after it has conducted all the stages of the exam.
