RRB Technician Vacancy 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification of announced vacancies for technicians with 18 new categories. Earlier, RRB released the notification for 9144 vacancies for 22 categories, which is now increased to 14298 vacancies for 40 categories.
As per the official notification, a fresh link will be activated shortly for 15 days to fill out the application for newly added categories, as well as for old candidates; it will allow them to change their RRB.
RRB Technician Vacancy 2024 Notice
RRB has released an official notice to announce an increase in technician vacancies along with the increase increase in categories. RRB also informed that candidtates will be soon able to apply fresh applications for new categories as well as make changes in previous applications.

RRB Technician Apply Online 2024
RRB will enable the online application link for 15 days in which candidates will be able to make fresh applications for new categories as well as old candidates will be allowed to change their RRBs. Candidates are requested to regularly visit rrbapply.gov.in for any updates. Candidates are also requested to keep their documents handy while filling out the application form.
Who can apply for RRB Technician Exam: Check Eligibility Criteria
RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria will be the same as the previous announcement. However, there will be changes in the educational qualification, which is now as per the new categories. To be eligible for the new categories for Workshops & Pus, candidates should have completed Class 10th with an ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT in Related Trade/Branches.
RRB Technician Selection Procedure
Candidates who are going to apply freshly in RRB Technician or have already done so, will have to go through a three-stage selection procedure that includes a computer-based test, document verification and medical examination. The candidate first needs to pass a computer based test and the selected candidates will be called for document verification and so on.
RRB Technician Syllabus and Exam Pattern
Candidates who are going to attempt the railway technician examination should check the updated RRB Technician syllabus. The latest syllabus includes questions from general awareness, general intelligence and reasoning, the basics of computer application, mathematics, basic science and engineering.
