SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2025
SSC GD eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the age limit and educational qualification as prescribed by the SSC. The details regarding the SSC GD Constable eligibility are as follows:
SSC GD Educational Qualification (As on 01-01-2025)
Candidates applying for GD Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen should have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
SSC GD Age Limit (As on 01-01-2025)
The age limit of the candidates for SSC GD is 18 to 23 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005. Age relaxation is applicable to those candidates who belong to the reserved categories.
SSC GD Selection Process
SSC GD selection process consists of a written exam, physical efficiency test, physical standard test, detailed medical exam and document verification. Candidates have to qualify each round of the selection process to be appointed as SSC GD Constable. The details regarding the SSC GD selection process for each stage is given below.

SSC GD Exam Pattern (New)
SSC GD exam is an objective exam consisting of four sections to it. The sections include General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The exam is held in online mode for a total of 160 marks. Candidates have to attempt a total of 80 questions that has to be completed in 1 Hour. There is a negative marking of 0.50 per question for every incorrect answer marked by you. SSC GD Syllabus
SSC GD syllabus is released by SSC for the written exam. In order to qualify the exam, the candidates should ensure that they know the important topics and sub topics that are needed to crack the exam. The details regarding the SSC GD syllabus are as follows:
English/Hindi: Comprehension, Sentence Formation, Synonyms-Antonyms, Para Jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Cloze test, etc
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Spatial Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Observation, Visual Memory, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Similarities and Differences etc.
Elementary Mathematics: Decimal, Number System, Percentages, Fraction, Average, Ratio and Proportions, Interests, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Time and Work etc.
SSC GD 2025 Answer Key
The SSC will be releasing the SSC GD answer key 2025 on its website soon for the SSC GD Tier 1 exam. The answer key will allow the candidates to know the correct answer key for all the questions that were asked in the exam. In addition to this, the candidates will also be able to challenge the answer key as well.
SSC GD Admit Card 2025
SSC shall release the SSC GD 2025 admit card for re exam on its website. The admit card shall be released separately for the regions for which the admit card is supposed to be released, i.e. for CR, NR, NER, ER, WR regions. Once the admit card link shall be activated soon on the SSC regional website.
SSC GD Constable Result 2025 PDF
The SSC GD Constable result 2025 PDF will be released by the Staff Selection Commission on its website which is ssc.gov.in. The merit list will be published in PDF format on the SSC website. To check the result scorecard, one would be required to login using his/her SSC registration number and password.
