CBSE Deleted Syllabus for Class 11 2023-2024: In the past few years we have seen a lot that was unexpected and unrealistic. The entry of the COVID-19 pandemic brought changes to many sectors in terms of their rules and regulations and the model of working. During the pandemic, in the year 2020, the New Education Policy was launched that emphasises “Reducing curriculum content to enhance essential learning and critical thinking.” This was followed by CBSE in the year 2022-23 by dropping 30% of the syllabus. Revised NCERT Textbooks
We all are aware that NCERT textbooks are considered best to cover the CBSE curriculum. They follow the set pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education and are expertly verified. As the changes introduced to the CBSE syllabus NCERT has also revised its textbooks. Now the content of NCERT books is in accordance with the revised CBSE syllabus and the topics that are not covered in the new syllabus have been removed completely. Thus, it is important for students to have a soft copy of revised NCERT textbooks for their subjects so that they don’t get entangled in unnecessary topics that were used to be there earlier. NCERT Deleted Syllabus for Class 11 (All Subjects)
CBSE has dropped 30% of the syllabus which has also impacted the NCERT textbook content. In order to follow the new CBSE syllabus NCERT has also deleted certain topics from its textbooks.
