PSEB Class 12 New Exam Pattern for 2025 Board Exam
CBSE has once again introduced some crucial changes in the exam pattern for Class 12. According to the new exam pattern, more weightage has been assigned to the Competency-Based Questions and the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The new exam pattern lays less emphasis on the traditional answer type questions.
The weightage assigned to different formats of questions will be as follows:
- Competency Focused Questions in the form of MCQs/ Case Based Questions, Source-based Integrated Questions or any other type = 50%
- Select response type questions (MCQ) = 20%
- Constructed response questions (Short Answer Questions/Long Answer type Questions, as per existing pattern) = 30%
