JEE Advanced is an all-India competitive exam for admission into the IITs and IISc. The candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced exam pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor's, Integrated Master's or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Design or Pharmaceutics. What is JEE Advanced Exam?

The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Advanced is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted for admissions into IIT/IISc for B. E/B. Tech admissions. JEE Prior to JEE Advanced exam, a candidate has to first appear for JEE Main exam and obtain the JEE Main cut off marks. Candidates who are in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main Exam then become eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.

Who Conducts JEE Advanced?

JEE Advanced is an engineering exam that is conducted by any one of the IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Any one of the IITs conducts the JEE Advanced exam on a rotational basis.

IIT Madras will be conducting the JEE Advanced 2024 exam on 26th May 2024 in online mode. The official confirmation has been made regarding the JEE Advanced 2024 exam conducting body. JEE Advanced 2024 Latest Updates 

IIT Madras has released the JEE Advanced result 20242 on its website on 9th June. The candidates who appeared in the exam can now check the result status by visiting the IIT website which is jeeadv.ac.in. A total of 48248 candidates have qualified JEE Advanced 2024 examination. Along with the result, the topper list has also been released by the authorities. 

Along with the JEE Advanced registration, the mock test link has also been generated by IIT Madras. Those who have appeared for JEE Main exam and are in the top 2.5 lakh are eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Date Out

The JEE Advanced 2024 registration has been started on 27th April. However, the JEE Advanced 2024 exam date has not been changed. Check the following table to know the important dates related to the exam. 

JEE Advanced 2024 Registration Form

JEE Advanced registration 2024 shall be done from the JEE Advanced website. IIT Madras will activate the JEE Advanced apply online link on 21st April and will end on 30th April 2024. Candidates will have to fill out the form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee to complete the registration process. Here are steps that will help you complete the JEE Advanced registration 2024. 

• The qualified candidates need to first register themselves for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam. For this process, candidates need to provide their JEE Main 2024 roll number, password and security pin. 
• In the next step, enter your personal details, communication address, etc. 
• Select the exam centre for JEE Advanced 2024 exam from the dropdown menu. 
• Thereafter, upload the scanned images of your photograph, signature, caste certificate (if any) etc in the required size and format. 
• Lastly, pay the JEE Advanced application fee as per your category through offline or online mode. 
• After all the above steps have been completed make sure that you take print out of the JEE Advanced application form 204 for future reference. 

JEE Advanced 2024 Form Correction

The candidates who have applied for JEE Advanced 2024 exam and paid the application fee, however, have made a minor error in the application form have the option to make corrections to it. The JEE Advanced correction date shall be notified on JEE Advanced website. Further, only certain can be corrected in the form. 

Documents to Upload in JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form

The list of documents to be uploaded in the JEE Advanced 2024 application form are as follows:

• Class 10th certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or the birth certificate.
• Class 10th and 12th (or equivalent examination) certificate
• If the candidate’s name is not the same as in the Class X certificate, a gazette notification showing the change of name. 
• Caste certificate, if any
• PwD certificate if any
