Xavier Aptitude Test, commonly known as XAT is an annual exam that is held by XLRI Jamshedpur. Candidates are shortlisted for MBA/PGDM programs through XAT, GD, and PI for admission into more than 1000 premier B schools of the country. XLRI Jamshedpur has activated the XAT 2025 registration on 15th July 2024 while the exam is scheduled for 5 January 2025. XAT Exam Latest Updates 

The XAT 2025 exam is scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025. The registration process has started from July 15, 2024 and will end on November 30, 2024. Candidates must complete their registration by filling out the online application form and paying the required fee at xatonline.in before the last date. XAT 2025 will be held in a single session across 100+ test centres in India. The exam will last 3.5 hours and will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The fee has been increased this year for the XAT exam.

XAT 2025 Exam Date

XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2025 exam date on its website. The exam will be held on January 5, 2025. The registration has started for the XAT exam and will endon November 30. You can go through the important dates for XAT 2025 exam in the table below here.

What is XAT Exam?

XAT is a national level management entrance examination that is conducted each year for admission into management programmes. The exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur whose marks are accepted by over 1000 B schools for admission into the MBA/PGDM college programmes. The XAT exam syllabus has 100 Multiple-choice Choice Questions (MCQs) from Decision-making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. 

XAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The XAT eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the following requirements: 

• Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 
• Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for XAT exam. 
• No minimum marks is needed to apply for XAT exam. 
• Working professionals who have done their CA/CS are also eligible to apply for XAT 2025 exam. 

XAT 2025 Registration

Candidates who wish to apply for the XAT exam will need to fill out the applciation form. The XAT 2025 registration will be done through online mode only. Here are the steps to fill out XAT application form. 

• Visit XAT 2025 website @xatonline.in
• Click on the “New Registration” link that appears on the page and fill out the details. 
• Verify the XAT ID and registration link through the mail sent to your email. 
• Visit the link and login to complete the registration for XAT 2025 exam. 
• Upload the required documents in the correct format and size. 
• Pay the application fee as per your category. 
• Lastly, make sure to take a print out of the application form. 

XAT 2025 Application Fee

All candidates must pay the XAT application fee as per their categories. The fee can be paid via online mode via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking or any other mode of online payment. 

XAT Exam Pattern 2025

XAT is an aptitude test that is conducted in online mode only. All the questions are objective questions that have to be answered in 3 Hours 30 Minutes. There is a sectional time limit in XAT exam. Each correct answer fetches you 1 mark while an incorrect answer leads to a negative marking of 0.25 mark. The major highlights of XAT exam pattern are as follows:
