SSC CPO Exam

The SSC CPO exam is an annually conducted examination for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The examination is held in four stages. The first stage is the written test which is Paper 1 followed by Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper 2, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). SSC CPO 2024 Exam Latest Updates 

The SSC CPO exam date 2024 has been postponed by the Commission due to the General Elections in the country. The candidates will be able to appear for the SSC CPO exam on 27th, 28th, 29th June 2024. Thus, the admit card for the Paper 1 exam shall be released in the 2nd or 3rd week of June 2024. Prior to this, the exam was supposed to be held on 9th, 10th, 13th May 2024.

Latest Updates: 

⇒ 8th April 2024: SSC CPO Exam Date 2024 has been revised by the Commission. 

The SSC CPO 2024 notification was released by the SSC along with the apply online link on its website which is ssc.gov.in. The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill the fill the SSC CPO application form had to apply online from 4th to 28th March at ssc.gov.in. As the last date to apply for the SSC CPO exam is approaching, therefore, the candidates are required to fill the form by 28th March. The candidates who fill out the application form successfully will be able to appear for the exam on  9th, 10th, and 13th May 2024. The selection for SSC CPO is done through a written test, physical test, document verification and medical exam.

What is SSC CPO 2024 Exam Pattern?

SSC CPO exam pattern for the written test consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are objective type set in bilingual languages, i.e. English and Hindi. The exam pattern for SSC CPO paper 1 consists of four subjects for a total of 200 marks. The test shall be held for a duration of 2 Hours. Given below is the SSC CPO exam pattern for paper 1. 

The SSC CPO exam pattern for paper 2 shall have a single paper, i.e. English Language and Comprehension for a total of 200 marks for 2 Hours. 

What is the Salary of SSC CPO?
